Has any SEOW
(Asio flammeus) researcher or ornithologist seen the "blonde" morph Short-eared
owl that frequents Fitzpatrick Drive, Fort Edwards, NY??

I have seen hundreds of SEOW's in my birding life. I have never seen this
extreme light morph.

I assume it's an adult male, as seen on page 224 of the small Sibley's.

There is critical habitat everywhere in that area. Restrictions are in place to
NOT enter onto any field. Thank god.
