A friend and I went to the Tomhannnock Reservoir yesterday for waterfowl. We
observed the following:
1 pair of buffleheads;
1 pair of hooded mergansers;
Many common mergansers;
2 pairs of gadwalls;
2 pairs of goldeneyes;
Many Canada geese;
3 mute swans; and
1 immature bald eagle.
There were also many more waterfowl that were too far out to distinguish
clearly.
