Thanks to Ben & his report, yesterday evening I took my NYC Audubon Bryant Park Walk group around the front of the Library, where we were treated to an eight-species flock of warblers, largely in the two honey locusts at the North end. There was also an Empidonax flycatcher, which looked to my eye to be a Willow/Alder (large; broad bill with all-yellow lower mandible). The warblers were: American Redstart (2)Black-and-White (2)Blackpoll (1)Black-throated Blue (1)Black-throated Green (1)Common Yellowthroat (2)Ovenbird (1)Yellow Warbler (2) There was also a lingering White-throated Sparrow, and on the N. edge of Bryant Park we had another Empidonax flycatcher that was small and grayish, and looked like a Least to me.
