The Mourning Warbler still present across from Tupelo was the
highlight of the morning. Yellow-Rumped Warblers were everywhere, and
Titmouse, Hermit Thrush, and Robins were numerous as well. There were
a large number of Juncos on the lawn beneath Cedar Hill, and several
Chipping Sparrows on the north side of the path up the hill (along
with some Whte-Throateds and House Sparrows). Maintenance meadow had
Song Sparrows, Catbirds, and a Phoebe. Several other Phoebes were
around Tupelo, along with a Black-Throated Blue. There were 5 Wood
Ducks (3 male, two female) in the Upper Lobe along with a quantity of
Mallards, and a Red-Bellied Woodpecker just past Hunter's Gate.

Good birding,
