After spending all day yesterday out East with disappointing results (Larry 7 owl @ Lazy Pt., pipits @ Horsemill RD. Bridgehampton, Gr cormorant @ Montauk Harbor entrance, only 2 scoters (black) at the point), I had 4 yearbirds without leaving Massapequa this morning. Sapsucker at my apt. complex (Southpoint), purple sandpiper @ Nassau Shores Park- end of East Point Rd flew off and not relocated., pintail (1 only) and red bellied wdpkr @ Marjorie Post Park.
