The highlight of a chilly walk through the Ramble this morning was a
European Goldfinch at Maintenance meadow, hanging out with a group of
5 House Finches.  He sat peacefully with them and flew out when they
did.

No bands that I saw.  I wonder if he's the same individual I saw
several times last spring along the Gill.

Also, three Red-Tailed Hawks at Evodia, one juvenile and two adults.
I think I've seen this group of hawks several times recently; the
adults frequently on the ground or poking around in low brush, as they
were today, with  the juvenile sitting up in a tree and remaining
behind when the adults move along.

Otherwise, the usual suspects.  American Goldfinches almost as
numerous as the Titmousoi today.
