The Central Park Reservoir had a 1st cycle Iceland Gull at about 3:30 on Monday. It sat on a frozen patch almost exactly in the middle of the reservoir just north of he fountain. There were 3 or 4 times as many gulls present as has been typical these past few weeks. A Swamp sparrow also made an appearance, jumping out for just a moment onto the northeastern portion of the jogging path.
