I have visited the Holtsville Ecology Site multiple times over the years and seem to recall a resident stork at one time, but I can't say with certainty. It is worth a follow-up to see if they missing such a bird.
I will keep my eyes open as the location of the sighting and the Holtsville facility are both within 5-10 minutes from my residence. Thanks.
