EIGHT turkey vultures swooping around in the snow flurries above the PC Richard store on Northern Blvd, (just west of Glen Cove Rd.) Greenvale. It should be noted that last year I saw 5 hanging out on the roof of the former PALL Corp building just a little west from there on Northern Blvd and two years ago I saw 4 cruising around on the grounds of the Nassau County Museum. What are their habits? are they generally solitary or breeding pairs or do they tend to groups?
