3- 18-13 ERIC MILLER & GARY STRAUS went to prospect park to try for the varied thrush. We were successful because of Eric's great ears & eyes. Eric heard some winter finches . his eyes were directed toward them and the varied thrush was sitting on a branch in the same direction .we were east of the cemetery by the bridle path. The finches were 20+ pine siskins. GARY STRAUS PORT WASHINGTON NY
