Hello All, I hiked into Maple Swamp,[Pleasure Drive, Flanders], this
morning and found a perched flock of fourteen Red Crossbills by the
inner pond. Other birds in the vicinity were 2 Blue Gray Gnatcatcher, 2
Palm Warblers, many Ruby Crowned Kinglets, Yellowrumped Warblers, lots of
Pine Warbler, a Hermit Thrush, Eastern Phoebe and Brown Creeper. This area
is especially bad for ticks in season and I did pick up several today. Good
April Birding, Carl Starace
