I just wanted to add some details to the previous postings about the Stint.
Today, when I first saw the bird, it was feeding among the Semipalmated
Sandpipers west of the main tern loafing flats, between the two patches of
marsh grasses at 10:20.  As soon as the crowd had gathered it flew onto the
main tern flats where it remained for a few minutes.  Finally it flew in the
direction of the parking lot where it was lost and never re-found despite many
hours of continued searching by many.

I hope the bird sticks around for more to see.

Good Birding,

Menachem
