Last email of the day. For those who have not been on the pond yet this year
just a few notes.

Water level is good now. Plenty of shore exposed around the pond. Maybe too
much. This heat has exposed loads of shore now. Dead mans cove is easily
passable and I think is less mucky than prior years. The area where you first
walk out to the pond in the west edge of the north end has a deep water area
caused from Sandy I guess. Just stay to your left as much as possible and hug
the phrags when you walk out, go onto the spit and then go to the west edge.
The last 20 feet before you get onto the pond is the muddiest/muckiest area of
the pond. Last week I sunk in up to my knee. It has dried up quite a bit since
then.

The entrance to the pond now has gravel at the front. It is very obvious but
not exactly where it use to be.
