Nassau County Long Island 3-5pm

Spent the afternoon birding Middle Bay from a few different vantage points.
Highlights included a single Long Billed Dowitcher mixed in with a flock of
around half a dozen SB Dowitchers at the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area in
the last pool on the right before the small foot bridge. A Tricolored Heron was
feeding  across the bay along the edge of the marsh scoped from the same small
bridge.

A Pectoral Sandpiper was also on hand.
