I had a relatively short look at a Sora in the same muddy area in the reeds
along the south shoreline of the Penninsula Meadow in Brooklyn's Prospect
Park where a Sora gave many of us good and extended views up to a week ago.

I'm going to guess that this is a different bird. The bird was farther
back in the reeds and gave good binocular looks but I was unable to get my
camera on it for a record shot. This bird's bill was all yellow unlike the
previous Sora which has a darker bill tip. Also, today's bird had
extensive gray on its throat and breast - sorry, I wasn't able to recall if
there was black on its face near its bill. I assumed the bird would give
better looks like the original Sora but this one seemed to just melt into
the reeds and wouldn't reappear in the 30-40 minutes I waited.
