We had a pair of bluebirds that successfully raised two broods in East Hampton
this summer. As has been the case for at least the past 3 years in October,
there is now a very active group of 6-8 bluebirds excitingly inspecting the
boxes, so I am curious to know if they are checking out housing for next summer
or revisiting childhood memories? I know they also seem to use the boxes as
shelters through the winter when weather gets bad.
