On my way back from seeing the Stuyvesant Varied Thrush. I just
received a call from Ed Becher who had two flocks of Tundra Swans
flyby at Jones Beach earlier today.

The flocks consisted of 10 and 11 birds respectively and were seen
about 1/2 hour apart around 11:30 am. Ed, unfortunately did not have
his cell phone with him or this would have gotten out earlier.

This might fall into the count period for Captree (3 days before and
after), which would,if applicable bring the total to 120 species??
Many thanks to Ed for the report.
