Subject: [HMBirds] Snowy Owl - Coxsackie, Greene Co., NY
There was a SNOWY OWL perched on the kestrel nest box pole at the Coxsackie
Creek Grasslands Preserve off Rt. 9-W in Greene County, NY.
The bird was easily visible from the Serta cul-de-sac. Any closer approach than
that is not necessary for good looks or distant photography.
I posted a picture (taken from said cul-de-sac) on my eBird report.
