A small group birding trip from Saw Mill River Audubon for the Chappaqua
Neighbors group this morning offered some enjoyable winter waterfowl and
eagle watching in northeastern Westchester County.

Highlight: seven different bald eagles seen along a two-mile stretch of the
north shore of the Titicus Reservoir, viewed from Rt 116. (41.3349,
-73.6359)
One adult among them.

(Two additional immature bald eagles were later seen interacting mid-air
over Rt 35 just west of Rt 100 & north of Muscoot Reservoir.)

80+ American Coot
