Charlie Roberto, Kyle Bardwell and I travelled to black dirt region today.
Highlight was 12 Rough legged hawks on rte 94, Indiana road and at oil city
road (pine island) 9 of which were light-phased) also 5 kestrel, 3 harrier,
lots and lots of horned lark (missed on buntings and longspurs), some savannah
sparrows and 14 white crowned (mostly on missionland road) -- got there too
late and left too early for SE owls.

If you go lunch (and all sorts of to go products) a must at Quaker Creek Store
on Pulaski Hwy, Goshen)
