Adding to the Rough-legged Hawk count, there was an adult light morph circling and hovering above the marshland at Terrell River County Park this morning. I was scoping across the bay from the Smith Point County Park outer beach when I noticed the bird.
An immature Bald Eagle was also in the near vicinity of the Rough-leg. Little else to speak of from the Smith Point side.
