March 17th, ~4:15pm The Iceland Gull was seen, by scope, standing on the ice in the center of the reservoir amongst Ring-billed and Herring Gulls. It was similar in size to the Herring Gulls, with a mantle more pale than those of the surrounding gulls, white wing tips, at a distance the bill looked completely black. I am not a gull expert but this gave me the impression of 1st winter bird. Unfortunately I do not have any photos.
Also seen in the reservoir were the previously reported Red-necked Grebe and male Ring-necked Duck in the SE corner of the reservoir. I did not see the American Wigeon. Full list is on ebird.
