Rockefeller State Park Preserve, 1400+ acre Important Bird Area in Westchester County, seeks birders!
Thursday, 6/19 - Monday 6/23 will be the first-ever Rockefeller State Park Preserve Birding Blitz. Area birders will be conducting a birding blitz at Rockefeller State Park Preserve on these dates. A compilation gathering will be held on the evening of Mon 6/23 at RSPP. Intermediate and advanced birders are sought to gather breeding bird data which will inform ecological stewardship planning for the Preserve. Birders are invited to participate on one or more dates in one or more specified census areas.
