Date: May 17, 2014 The Brooklyn Botanic Garden birding class birded Alley Pond Park. The weather was beautiful and the birds were good. We totaled 37 species. The highlights of our trip were: Warblers (11 species) Parula, Yellow, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, BT Green, Blackpoll, B&W, Redstart, N.Waterthrush, C.Yellowthroat, Wilson's Vireos (3 species) Yellow-throated, Red-eyed, Warbling Other birds of interest were Scarlet Tanager (6), B.Orioles (7), Wood Thrush, E.Wood-Pewee, Gt.Crested Fly.C., and two Turkey Vultures overhead Best Joe Giunta --
