Hey all, Spent four hours today at Cupsogue County Park in Westhampton Beach around low tide, mostly shorebirding, and ended up with 16 shorebird sp (plus two Western Willets). As mentioned, one Black Tern was present amongst the large roosting Common Tern flock when I first arrived, but it appeared to vanish after the first 20 minutes. There was also one Pectoral Sandpiper by it's lonesome and at least two Western Sandpipers within the decent-sized peep flock that had accumulated in the shallow water on the parking lot side of the flats (you know if you've been there, it's the area where you sink into the mud past your ankles). I tried hard for a White-rumped, but came up empty handed with that one. See my checklist and pictures here: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S19192622
