It would be really helpful if those who have seen the bird described it's behavior, how it is feeding, what it seems to perch on, whether it is skittish, how close is too close, whether it flies high or low when it leaves or whether it simply disappears into the grass, whether it has ever been seen flying over the inlet to the rocks on the easterly side, whether it has actually been seen feeding in wet ground along the edge of the marsh or only out on the beach...
So far the only landmarks to look for have been some timbers lying on the beach at the easterly curve of the beach approaching the inlet.
