Several good birds have been reported along the Niagara River in Buffalo
this afternoon. From the West Side Rowing Club, Peter Yoerg reports a
juvenile SABINE'S GULL, a juvenile BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, a LITTLE GULL,
and three PHALAROPES. The Sabine's was most of the way across the river in
Fort Erie with Bonaparte's Gulls. Shortly after, Alec Humann reported a
juvenile SABINE'S GULL from the Ontario Street Boat Launch. It is unknown
if Alec's bird is the same or a different individual.
The Rowing Club is off of Porter Avenue. The boat launch is accessed off of
Niagara Street near the end of Ontario Street. There is currently
lake-effect rain in Buffalo.
