Dear Fellow Birders, The Montauk Christmas Bird Count is taking place on *SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20th*. The Montauk Count extends from Montauk Point westward to the hamlets of Springs and Amagansett in East Hampton Township. The territory includes a variety of habitats, and shelters a great many wintering seabird populations
The Montauk Count precedes the Sagaponack Count and you can enjoy a great weekend of birding to usher in the winter season. If you interested in participating please let me, Karen Rubinstein, know. ( For out-of-towners -- some overnight accommodations may be available.)
