It's probably worth mentioning that between 1 and 3 Royal Terns have been observed in Brooklyn sporadically for at least a month. They've been spotted at various times between Dead Horse Bay, to the east, and Seagate, to the west. Several sighting have been along Plum Beach and Coney Island, with the most recent reports coming today from both Plum and Coney Island Creek.
