Over past few months I have been hearing occational croaking and just catching glimpses of large black bird. Today all doubt was erased. The raven was perched on top of a Pine tree near East Medow Jewish Center. Stayed for about 15 minutes croaking and preening then flew off. I think the bird is roosting nearby. _____

One is on the ground in the drive way feeding the other is on the roof of the house. Not a very common site around here. Still there5 minutes ago . They are about 1/2 block east of the East Meadow Jewish Center. On the north side of the road.
