The Eurasian green-winged teal continues on Centerport Pond (for those who might not be familiar with that area, Centerport Pond is the one next to the motel, Mill Pond is the larger body across the street) along with several hundred Canada geese, buffleheads, ring-necked ducks, mallards, and today, a single northern pintail. Mill Pond turned up a slew of canvasbacks, lesser scaups, gadwalls, and widgeons including a Eurasian widgeon. It's probably the same one that Keith Cashman described as a Eurasian x American hybrid yesterday, but I didn't see the same field marks that he did. C.
