Pertinent to all who purchased the 1st printing of Sibley's Birds: Knopf Publishing has stepped up and will replace the faulty copies of Sibley's Birds - Second Edition.
Thanks to Ian Paulsen of Birdbooker Report [ http://birdbookerreport.blogspot.com/ ] for bringing this to our attention. I called Knopf this morning and spoke with a very pleasant representative, Tara. My replacement is on its way. Call Knopf at:* 1-800-793-2665.* Very-very classy of Knopf for doing this. -- Richard Guthrie New Baltimore, NY -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/NYSB.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
