Tents and spotters also at croton train station boat ramp, George's island (Montrose), Verplank pier, croton dam. 8 am -- 39 eagles at George's island. (25 at 9 am). On ice floes and perched. Other birds seen this morning mostly croton train boat ramp: greater scaup, canvasback, gadwall, redhead, Cooper's hawk and raven. Pied billed grebe and eastern screech owl at black rock.
