Today, I spent ~ 2 hours total during the early, and then the late afternoon, trying for the Barnacle Goose seen in Calverton this past Sunday. Although I missed again, I did manage to see a light morph Rough-legged Hawk, and a Red-tailed Hawk between Edwards & Manor Avenues. Closer to home, over Middle Rd. in Riverhead, a Kestrel was a pleasing sight !
