Holly Wilson and Phillip Camhi arrived at the Scotts Corners Golf Course off 208 around 6:30 p.m. and, after getting their bearings by the white metal fence and finding only one other birder there, got rather distant views of the Caracara sitting in the trees in the woods to the south. At one point it flew and they got to see its wing pattern and face. Just after 7:00 p.m. they reported that it flew over the trees and out of sight to the east. There is an opossum carcass in the field here that it had been feeding on.

Because there are several locations to check it is hoped that searchers will communicate info positive and negative by posting and exchanging phone numbers.

Good luck to all going for it tomorrow.
