That was to be expected. It's come into a good thing. I watched it feed on
opossum yesterday. And as Jed Clampett once put it, "that's the thing about
possum innards: they's just as good the second day". I put up a picture for
anyone that hasn't had enough of it, sparing the innards and getting its
good side (http://www.stevewalternature.com/) . My other, more serious,
observation was the oddity of seeing a caracara hiding out in a wood lot.
But then it's a long way from the Florida prairies.
