As of around 5 PM this evening the BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER flock had increased to 9 individuals. A juvenile BAIRD'S SANDPIPER and single AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER were also present. A chap on dirt bike was running around the edges of the field causing the birds to flush repeatedly but they seemed intent on settling and feeding in a couple of the tilled fields as viewed from the north side of Northville Turnpike (Rt 43) just west of the intersection with Rt 105.
