I spoke with Rita McMahon at Wild Bird Fund yesterday. She did not
release this bird. We considered capturing it because of the injured
wing. The bird is feeding well, and the question then is whether trying
to capture it will stress it more than leaving it there. If it looks
like it is struggling, which it did not appear to be yesterday, someone
will go up from WBF to try to retrieve it for rehabilitation. Since
there are so many eyes on it, any problems should be recognized pretty
quickly.
