There was an adult Kumliens Iceland Gull at the west end 2 lot but was gone
when I checked later. Bonaparte Gull was by the Coast Guard sandbar. Boat
Tailed Grackles were present every stop from Oak Beach to Jones Beach. No
sign of the Oak Beach Eared Grebe. A lovely young couple I met tried but
not locate the previously reported Eared Grebe by the Jones Beach jetty but
mentioned they saw a pair of Harlequin Ducks and Purple Sandpipers by the
jetty. The wind sucks today keeping songbirds hiding (no sign of the Jones
Beach Lark Sparrow)

Good birding,
Rob in Massapequa
