Perhaps a bit of optimism is needed here... Consider that this Snowy Owl is being extremely well-protected in its current location. The security guards and most other humans would recognize the simple beauty and unusual timing of this fantastic bird. I'd like to believe that the owl will be provided the greatest protection.
Perhaps this is a fine example of how even Birdwatcher's should keep away from the area. I would like to hope that everyone would be mindful of the bird's safety as opposed to acting in a manner that simply aims for a personal life list addition.
