I was out walking near the Bay Ridge Botanical Garden with my wife and family and spotted a eurasian collared dove in the underbrush near the bee area / compost bins (near the fishing pier if you know where that is).
I didn't have my camera at the time, so wasn't able to get a picture. It was unmistakable, having seen a number of them when out in Colorado. It was flocking with a bunch of morning doves. I'm hoping to go back tomorrow morning with a camera to get some photographs, so I can record it on ebird.
