I'm not sure if this is of any use to anybody, and I couldn't find a better
place to report it, so I'll send it here. When I was walking my dog today,
I sadly found a dead Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (it probably died recently
since my dog didn't try to eat it). I don't know if any scientists could
use it for something, but I figured it was worth a try. It's in the grass
by the sidewalk at the base of a large tree at the corner of Shoreward
Drive and Longview Place in Great Neck. It's on the west side of Longview.
You should probably hurry up if you want it though, I don't know how long
it'll be around.

It's extra sad, since I've only ever seen a few alive in Great Neck before.
