I am posting on behalf of Hollis White (he is having trouble posting to the list). Hollis and Denise White found a Pink-footed Goose at the Malone Recreational Park yesterday (Wed. Nov. 8, 2017) among the hordes of Snow Geese (a major birding attraction at this location in Nov.!). Hollis plans to be at the park again today. This appears to be a first record for this species in Franklin County.
I heard about this sighting from Willie D'Anna (thanks Willie!) this morning. (Hollis sent a photo of the goose to a friend in Canada, who forwarded it to Willie and he identified the goose.) I called Hollis this morning to confirm the location and he asked me to post on his behalf.
