There has been a peregrine falcon seen and photographed in Udall’s Cove (at the end of Laurel Drive) in Great Neck Estates this past weekend. A peregrine (perhaps the same?) was again this morning flying over nearby Pond Park. While people have recorded flyovers at this park and in the area before, there is hope that perhaps the bird may be staying local this season.
