Though absent when I arrived at the refuge early in the morning, the Marbled Godwit continues at the south end of the East Pond, showing quite cooperatively. Other expected species were encountered on my journey to the north end and back, including a few Western, Stilt, and White-rumped Sandpipers, in case anyone else needs to pick up these birds for this shorebirding season.
