I've created Google Maps for all counties in the Kingbird 10 regions. See below.
Added to each of the *hotspot markers* are links to eBird's 'Overview' (items 1 and 2 below). The maps should help with finding existing hotspots and for locating personal locations you may wish to suggest as a hotspot. This will also help show where a personal location is close to an existing hotspot that you may wish to merge with the hotspot (**). If 'Open in My Maps' appears in the left sidebar you can click this to enable searching of Google Maps and the markers for each county. Here's a description for each of the 6 icons used on each of the maps. Hotspots are updated as of today and personal locations are through Nov/2018: 1. Hotspots (Red teardrop marker) - Top locations making up 80% of the hotspot checklists 2. Hotspots (Teal teardrop marker) - Bottom 20% based on # of hotspot checklists 3. Personal locations w/ 10 or more checklists (Flags) 4. Personal locations w/ less than 10 checklists (Small gray dots) 5. Postal Codes (Envelopes) 6.
