Since at least January 9th a first winter White-crowned Sparrow has been seen at Gramercy Park (between 20th-21st St. east of Park Ave.) which is a private park that can be birded from outside the fence. The sparrow was seen again today visible from Gramercy Park West on the NW lawn feeding with White-throated Sparrows.
