On Wednesday, at ~ 1500, as I came out of the Riverhead Library, I observed 12 Turkey Vultures "rocking & rolling" while coursing the sky between the library and the Roanoke Ave Elementary School, a few blocks to the east. Noticing a couple of T.V's warming themselves by bathing in the hot fumes of the schools chimney, I decided to check the site out. Upon arrival at the school, I found 2 Black Vultures, along with 5 "Turkeys" on the chimney. Since the flying flock had dissipated, I went with a total of 14 T.V's. for the day.
