Couldn't quite shut the door on ID-ing an immature Northern Goshawk today at Suffolk County Farms. Very large, very long tail, very different flight from Cooper's. Definitely accipiter; most likely goshawk.No April records on eBird for Long Island, though. Disappeared into the heavily wooded area behind/west of police property. Does anybody know if there is access, trails, etc behind the police/sheriff's headquarters? It's a huge area of woods. Cheers, Glenn
