The Townsend’s Solitaire found by Bruce Horwith last week continued off 3 Mile Harbor Drive in East Hampton this morning, within sight of the SLPOA nature preserve trail sign.
It flew into a rather bare juniper with a prominent fork high on the tree when I arrived. It then disappeared for 25 minutes and then showed again as I was leaving, at 8:30. I only heard it call once during my 30 minute stay. -Chris Sent from my iPod -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birding.aba.org/maillist/NY01 Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
